No. Just a simple push of the button and you are connected.

Question: Is this system like one of those handheld devices that use software to translate?

Answer:

NO. Handheld systems rely on interpreting phrases and provide
no voice inflection. They are limited in the number of
languages they support and are not two-way interactive. With
ELSA, interpretation is performed by a real person giving
you live, two-way communication.

Question: Seriously. Anytime, anywhere interpretation?

Answer:

As long as you are in a cellular coverage area, we can fulfill
your requests.

Question: Is this system like one of those cellular applications that I see on TV?

Answer:

NO. Those applications rely on interpreting phrases and

Absolutely not. ELSA is a viable alternative and enhancement
to your current processes. In fact, ELSA can be used by your
existing staff for interpretation.

Question: What if I want the interpreted conversation to be private?

Answer:

Easy. We have developed technology that transfers all
interpreted conversations to a BlueTooth earpiece. This allows
the interpreter to speak directly into your ear without others
hearing the interpretation.

Question: Can I access or download my conversations via the internet?

Answer:

Yes. With a computer or smartphone equipped with a browser you
can access your interpreted conversations. You can also
receive a written transcript of your conversations upon
request.

Question: What if I don’t know what language needs to be interpreted?

Answer:

We make it very simple. With a second button push, you will
connect to a linguist who identifies the language and
dialect you require.

Question: How am I billed for the service?

Answer:

There are two components to our billing. You pay a one-time,
minimal price for the ELSA device and a monthly service fee
for interpretation.
